Today's highlight was having breakfast at Zoe's house with Siobhan and Lauren. Was feeling uber crap in the morning, but after caffeine kicked in, so enjoyed the company of my ladees.

Today's highlight was seeing Gareth Liddiard outside Cookie and realising, yes, he is as beautiful as I thought he was.

Highlight today was probably talking to my manager about silly things and getting all marshmallowy when my two bosses said hi to us and realising how lucky I am to really enjoy all of the people I work with. Most. Of the people I work with.

I can't remember the highlight of this day...

Maybe becoming a part of a new artists collective, LMTD Space. It's essentially a blog and its purpose is to expose all of the beautiful art that is emerging in every corner of this country. We promote art exhibitions had by members of the collective and mainly just get their work into the cyberworld for creative, inspired people to read about and hopefully be inspired by. I'm holding down the Melbourne and Canberra side of things and it's nice to have something to do.

A couple of highlights today:

Work was a highlight, I would say. It was merch day and I got to work next to our visual merchandiser, Chris, who is Mexican Spanish and the sweetest person you will ever meet. And it was a really successful merch.

And then talking to my primary school friend Chris on the way home from work about being the Melbourne correspondent lady of a national emerging artist collective he has started called LMTD which I am also a part of. Go check it out, read what's going on around Australia indie-art-wise.

And another highlight was Lauren singing the high notes of O Happy Day to me while we were cleaning in anticipation of a house inspection tomorrow.

Highlight of the day today was eating hot chips from Grill'd after work. They were glorious cause I hadn't eaten all day but I was so full afterwards that I almost regretted it.

Highlight of today was actually probably the very last 15 minutes of the night. On the train ride home from birthday celebrations, I met a girl called Ella, who sat next to me and asked, 'Did you know that Leonardo DaVinci invented the scissors?' reading it from inside a juice bottle top and I said, "I did know that actually! And he was left handed, but he invented scissors for right-handed people."

We had a conversation about stuff that I talk to with my closest friends and I learnt she was studying music composition and she was a really beautiful person. If I was a boy, I would be dreaming hard tonight, true?

PS: Highlight before that was walking through the city on the way home from party thinking "Man I'm lonely and sort of lame" but then I walked past hundreds of 30 year old women singing Man I Feel Like A Woman at the Young & Jackson and realised I am not lame.

Happy birthday to me, I'm finally the age I feel I am.

The highlight of today was hanging with my friend Mikey. He's good to talk to. Also this afternoon, Lauren, Mikey and I walked into Savers with intentions of buying winter clothes and as we entered, our friend Gerry walked past us in a big floral dress with wicker shoes that he was planning to buy and it was hysterical. I'm 19 for just one more night.

The highlight of today was seeing a band called Neighbourhood who hail from Canberra and are three bands combined- danger Beach, TV Colours and Assassins88 (all from Canberra) play live at Bar Open. They were so good that it was almost a full body experience watching them.

a) seeing my favourite band, The Parking Lot Experiments live in Fitzroy again. They so smiley.

b) talking to a new Canberra migrant who's moved to Melbourne for similar reasons to me and talking about my art show with him.

c) pretend tapdancing across Brunswick Street with Lauren

Highlight of today, man there are a few:

We had a salad night and Scream marathon at Bella's house and the salads were a highlight, as well as the rhubarb and apple cake Bella's mum made for us, as well as the amazing cookies & cream ice cream Lauren brought, and watching Scream was also really great.

Highlight of today was having belated semi-Easter themed hangs at my friends Meredith and Katie's house. I was planning to only stay there for a little bit because there was a big gig on at the Espy that I wanted to see but we had such a nice, warm time at Mer's that we stayed there all night and talked and laughed until my cheeks were swollen.

Today's highlight was seeing Lauren's parents and going to see my friend's Dad's Beatles cover band in St Kilda with them. Such fun lately.

Today's highlight was alllll night long.

We went for wine with the eagles at the Evelyn on Brunswick street in the eve and then collected a bunch of people and went to a party in Abbotsford and when we entered, Vowels Pt. 2 by Why? was playing and I nearly lost all of my shit everywhere, but I held it together. And we hung out a lot there and it was just generally fucking rad times and I had good time.

Today's highlight was probably waking up. I stayed at my friend's house last night after getting on a tram to the city from his house and after about 10 minutes, the tram driver realised the tram wire was 'broken'...so I walked all the way back in torrential rain and hung out for the rest of the night.

Anyway, this morning, I woke up on the most glorious mattress/pillow/doona situation. And the walk from my friend's house to the tram stop was quite nice. I had a granny smith. I was really drowsy all day today, but it's been an alright day I think.

Today's highlight:

This guy comes into my work sometimes- a bit younger than middle aged, smells a bit like dirt, is totally camp, and wears a Jewish cap (pardon my ignorance, I don't know what they're called) and sometimes asks if I can charge his iPhone from a powerpoint behind the counter for him. I did it for him last week and he came back to collect it with two polished pieces of red coral to use as jewellery to say thankyou and today I did it for him and he gave me a gold bangle! So cool.

Today's highlight was coming home and getting my clean on and making soup. Well, the result of both these things was the ultimate highlight. It was a pretty good day.

A couple of highlights today:

My roommate. So in love with her.

Second thing: my eagles! Almost all my girlz came over last night so we could watch Paper Giants; a two part TV seies about how Cleo Magazine came about. I was feeling so hellish all day but felt so much better once I'd seen them. Eaaaggglllesssss!

I was feeling mighty hungover today but cuddling in bed was the highlight. The rest really sucked.

The highlight of my day was arriving at my friend Yasmin's party to a bunch of my friends screaming with excitement in the kitchen. People are so cool sometimes.

Another dog was the high point of my day today. There's a tiny boston terrier called Ace who hangs out in a clothing shop on Chapel Street called Bleecker Street and Lauren and I walked past today and spotted him just sittin' so we stopped to pat and I was like "Awww I love him!" and Lauren spotted boobies on him so she was like "Aww it's a girl!" And then as Ace got more and more psyched on us patting him, he sat down and rolled over to show us...HIS PENIS. It was a dog with tits and a dick and I felt really conflicted and didn't know what to call it so I started hysterically laughing. And my hands smelled bad after patting him but he had the cutest, boxiest face. I wish Iwas a dog. I was too shy to take a photo of Ace but he/she sort of looked like this except cuter.

Highlight today was patting a really beautiful golden retriever doggy at hole in the wall cafe on Carlisle Street. He was so unphased when I started patting him but after a while I stopped and he pushed my hand with his snout to keep going and he was so big and golden!

Today was not a great day. I have felt totally absent and sad all day. But it still had a few highlights:

1. Doing groceries with my roomie. Having food in the house rules.

2. While we were paying for groceries, I saw a huge Rottweiler dog tied up outside the arcade and a tiny Jack Russell looking dog tied up next to it. The Jack Russell dog was barking its head off at the Rottweiler and the Rottweiler was really scared of the Jack Russell and it was a strange and adorable sight.

Lately, I'm having troubles being really bored with life so I'm going to post something everyday for thirty days that has made my day less boring, and more interesting. I hope this is not a challenge.
